Happy Easter everyone, I hope you and your families have a lovely break 🙏 back to football Mr Dyche has just been sacked by the Dingles which means the all six teams at the bottom have all changed their managers lately! What does this mean to the Dingles chance of survival now? For me they are too boring and relegated with Everton would be a dream! MOT 👍👍.

Bit of a shock.
Think it will do them more harm than good.
Big upheaval after 10 yrs.
As much as I’d like Everton to go down I think the bottom 3 pretty much nailed on now.

Strange decision to sack Dyche with three fixtures in the next ten days.

Bold decision but they do not appear to have a successor lined up ( yet) .

Dingles Next Manager Odds Big Sam 3/ 1 Georgie 7/ 2 Mark Hughes 5/ 1 Corky 25/ 1.

Brilliant news for Leeds, very dark times at Burnley, talk sport saying current owner has a relegation clause enabling him to sell back to original owners, who don’t want it.

Purchased under same mechanism as Taunton United simply servicing the debt on the purchase money but Burnley cannot service debts like the Devon lot and therefore, if they don’t sell all their star players real risk of liquidation.

The fact Dyche annoyed me so much probably meant there was a grudging admiration of the job he did there but jeez they’re woeful to watch week in week out.

Hope this is the killer blow, we’ve been begging them to take Woid and Taylor in the past just to survive similar challenges.

Can only assume that they accept relegation and will look for the right manager for the Championship.
Gotta say it is a bit bizarre, possibly a falling out with Dyche and owner. ?

Op, they had the right manager for the championship, mad descion IMO, they will do a Stoke now and struggle to come back ever, shame (not)

Happy Easter to you and yours too Woody.

Very surprised by the Dyche decision - he seemed their best chance of staying up, having brought them back from the brink before - and with a tougher run of fixtures than they face in this run-in. It’ll be interesting to see who they bring in, and what impact they can make. Likewise where Dyche goes next and what tactics he adopts there. It was always a bit of a question at Burnley as to whether his tactics were so dull because he felt that was the best way to achieve results with the type of players that club could attract/ afford, or whether he actually prefers those tactics anyway.

All the best Woody!
Gotta say I find the Dyche decision utterly nonsensical! Anyone new has no chance to have an impact and influence tactics in such a short space of time! A Celtic fan I know says there was talk of him replacing GVB at Rangers tho, so maybe that is partly at play?
Anyway, all good news for us hopefully!

Talk sport reporter said the same guy tried to buy Southampton but was never able to provide proof of funds, apparently nobody had a clue Dyche was in early preparing the team and was summoned and dismissed with immediate effect.

Skipper Ben Mee part of three man temporary management team. Same Ben Mee who is a free transfer in the summer as club haven’t offered him a worthy offer.

Dyche to Watford next season, will bring them back up and will laugh at Burnley,
Happy Easter MOT.

Baz Thanks for the short odds but I can't bring myself to help anything involving Lancashire no matter what the economic benefits are. In the meantime, their board are crazy for sacking Sean. A thoroughly disrespectful sacking. He needs a medal for what he achieved there. Can only see their position worsening now. Think they'll be a club in huge disarray end of the season.

Very strange decision indeed this late. They only have 8 games left and it is likely that it will be just 6 before any new manager can arrive. Doesn't make any sense to me as its difficult to see how any other manager could get more out of that squad than Dyche or help them get back up of they go down. Selling Wood certainly turning out to look like a poor decision.
