Need another two from Wet Spam to make it clearcut and damage Everton confidence further! Come on you Spammers!

And Everton lost : good news

Two questions
1) How the fork did Bielsa Leeds get demolished 3 nil by Fat Frank's Everton? 🤔

2) What result is best for Leeds in this Wednesday game Burnley vs Everton? 😐

no points for either most desirable but of course that can't happen playing themselves

So for me a draw is best just one point each.

I was just asking myself the same questions Baz!
Had we taken 3pts from that game, we wouldn’t be in this mess right now! That result, and performance is something that players should be asking serious questions of themselves about!
And agreed, a draw would be perfect!

Baz, thinking the same earlier, think Everton have 3 winnable home games, so keeping Burnley in it might be beneficial to us.

I'm hoping for a Toffees win on Wednesday. They've got some difficult games coming up anyway (which they'll lose) and it's time for Claret resistance to fade permanently. Don't mind finishing 17th whatsoever at all.

Ive got Everton to gain one point till the end of the season and that’s against Burnley but I have a feeling that they are not even going to get that!

Me too OP!

{Ed014's Note - surely even they can get 3pts from Man Utd! 😂

It’s easy to forget that our lads put everything into coming back from 2 goals down at Villa on the Wednesday evening, with only the 2 days for recovery, whereas Everton hadn’t bothered turning up for their Tuesday game in Newcastle, even relying on the Toon to score their solitary goal in a very limp 3-1 defeat. Seemed very much like Lampard told his lads to throw that match and save themselves for his home ‘cup final’ against Bielsa.

Very valid points Clu, also that was the only notable performance to date from Donny van de-beeks to date he pulled up injured in the warm up before todays game.

As long as Burnley don’t win we should be happy 😃.

I think a point apiece in the Burnley - Everton game is the outcome I want to see - ideally with an Everton player 'seeing red' yet again. Incidentally if we beat Watford on the Saturday and Everton lose to United I'll actually be supporting Burnley in the Norwich vs. Burnley game (I think) . If that sequence of results happens it'll leave Frank really worrying about Everton.

The reason being I think I can see 6 pts in the rest of our season - largely from: Watford, Palace, Brentford and Brighton games.

Looking at their fixtures I think Everton need 7 pts from their next three which is a huge order - but given who they have after Burnley, United and Leicester (Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Brentford, and Arsenal) , they can't really look at the any of those except Brentford (any maybe not even then) as somewhere to hope for points.

Looking at this I almost - almost want Burnley to beat Everton in midweek. But I respect the togetherness and fight in that Burnley squad and if they win back-to-back (Everton and Norwich so totally possible) they could drag us back into it especially if we don't beat Watford.

Don’t forget, Everton also have Watford away and Palace at home still to be rescheduled.

Burnley have Villa away still to be rescheduled, which is not so easy, but in theory overall their remaining fixtures actually look far easier than Everton’s, particularly if Dyche can manage to galvanise his squad for one last push as he usually does.

On balance, I reckon a midweek draw between the two of them would be best, so neither gets a lift for the weekend and onwards.

But enough about them, we really need to take care of our own business, to keep us from drifting closer to trouble.

Surely an Everton win at Burnley is best for us as it keeps the bottom 3 away from our heels. Everton don’t really matter too us unless they’re playing a side above them. It’s all about keeping the gap to the bottom 3 as big as possible.

I’d prefer the draw, as it would feel better to keep Everton as a buffer below us for as long as possible.

I think a draw. Two points dropped by both teams.
