Newcastle came with a plan to waste as much time as they could and use whatever spoiling tactics they could and hopefully sneak a set piece goal. They also defended in large numbers which is always difficult to score against.
However we did create several chances with the ball being crossed in but sadly no takers.
It’s the instinct of a striker to sniff out these opportunities, I dare say Bamford would have latched onto one of them.
In my estimation the team played no where near the intensity and quality of the passing as we did against West Ham.
We did miss Bam, should have Bielsa started with Gelhardt? I believe so, he probably would have found those little spaces in that packed out defense to eke out a goal.
Very frustrating tactics by Newcastle but It got them a win.
That’s football, we move to the next game.

We do have a plan. Unfortunately it doesn't always work because we have too many average players. The only way to improve is to invest in quality but Radz had no intention of spending money that isn't generated by the club and Orta lacks the ability to identify decent players. You want a better plan? We need those two to move on.

Not looking forward to AV game on the rebound of this defeat, the more we seem to want players to start the more MB doesn’t, with bam bam out he puts James up front out of his position when we have Gelhardt, with Forshaw out he could of used young Lewis Bate who has fight in his belly but no he leaves him out. Post on here keep saying players are out of position why when we have players who could be used but our great manager dose the complete opposite, all the players we have bought the ones for the future use them, if we lose so be it at least put up a fight do battle I would be happy. Victoria chasing players who Are not available why? Just a game plan which has gone wrong time after time if your not going to buy use what we have. The time for big changes is coming so sorry to say. Let hope next game is a great one with 3 points.

I’m on the other side of the coin Whitey. This embarrassing defeat should galvanise the team, and give us the determination to put things right. We do however need some of our bigger game players back in the starting line up! I think we will see another Wet Sham level performance!
