Missed the game due to being on the way home from Gran Canaria but what a disappointment. Every time we seem to have turned a corner we just let ourselves down and its ultimately down to having a poor squad. Board we're too naive or stupid to see it in summer and nothing has changed. Pray we survive this season and the kids turn out to be world beaters because otherwise we are in serious trouble.

the young players deserve so much better than Bielsa.

The kids deserve more than bielsa? The same Bielsa who has broke records on giving the most teenagers their premiership debuts. The same bielsa who gave meslier the number 1 spot to break the most appearances for a goalkeeper at his age and the most clean sheets in a premier league season. Bielsa lives and breathes them kids, that’s why he sticks by roberts I believe because he treats him as one of those kids still because of his age.

LAD yes young players given one game or a few minutes here and there then dropped next match despite playing very well
Roberts is no youngster and he has NEVER delivered ; Bielsa keeps sabotaging the team by picking Roberts
Meslier only became Number 1 by DEFAULT when gash error strewn Kiko was embroiled in the racism stuff and banned.

He’s only played these kids because he’s had zero choice because his paper thin squad is broken, I’d doubt any of them would have seen game time if it not been for all the injuries. Using that statement in his defence is just papering over cracks or canyons.

The fa t is that yhese kids probably aren't good enough either but it's only after sustained game time that it becomes apparent. They are still developing - some will make it buy probably most won't.
Its easy to look at players we haven't seen very kuch of and assume they are brilliant but in actual fact they probably aren't. Look at Rodders - delighted when he came in as we all assumed he would be great but in time we all saw he is washed up and wasn't that great to start with.
Shop bargain bin and with a few lucky exceptions you get rubbish. All the players we have signed have been on the cheap and most of the time we have been ripped off.
