I'd look at players who's contracts are expiring in the summer.
Some good players who will be available cheaper than usual this month:
Isco, Real Madrid
Denis Zakaria, Monchengladbach
Boubacar Kamara, Marseille
Sergi Roberto, Barca
Enis Bardhi, Levante
Corentin Tolisso, Bayern
Xeka, Lille
Matias Vecino, Inter
John Swift, Reading
Some of the bigger names from the more established clubs aren't getting playing time and may be open to a Prem move.

I’d hope Orta will be paying particular attention to players with expiring contract, as will many other DFs, but chances are he may be wary of those with few minutes this season as would probably take longest to get sufficiently fit for Bielsaball.

Fair point. Personally, I'm a big fan of Zakaria and Bardhi. Both playing regularly and well this season.
