So so so proud of the fans yesterday who made it an incredible atmosphere for the second half and no doubt gave our battered players a lift. Not to mention showing Bielsa the ❤ and letting him know WE STILL BELIEVE.

Like Clu (and Chumbawumba) said, we get knocked down but we WILL get up again.

keep the faith, MOT.

Alf yes the fans are keeping the faith showing support but deep down I would be surprised if many of them will be truly surprised if R happens

surprised Alf that you still have faith in man 2 man Bielsa as Leeds have been woeful ALL season

woeful defending
woeful attacking
woeful squad strength down to Bielsa
conceding so many chances in each man 2 man game even against average teams Everton, Southampton, Brighton etc down to Bielsa ;

the only thing worse than LUFC at the moment is the disgraceful EPL refs.

52 shots faced in past 2 matches

Scary.

Welcome back Baz, I’ve really missed your up beat posts just recently. Again let’s repeat, there are 10+ plus players in the treatment room and they are not all muscle injuries due to over training. I don’t know if you noticed but we didn’t have one CB available against Arsenal.
Im pretty sure we’ve all established that strengthening the squad is a necessity but will there be any transfers made in January is the big question and will that player hit the ground running? Personally I believe if they can find a quality midfield player then they should make a very big effort to bring him in. Phillips looks like he’s going to be out for while and we can’t expect too much from Forshaw till the end of the season.
Maybe the current cv situation might work in our favour and they’ll make a pause period for 2/ 3 weeks, fingers crossed we might get enough injured players back to then push us clear of the relegation zone. It will be the only thing that has worked in our favour all season!

Koch is a CB last time I checked :-)

20 Dec 2021 09:48:21
I knew someone was going to correct me, but then I thought Koch has been out for so long that his fitness must be close to zero, Bielsa had no choice but to throw him in because he had no one else. Koch was totally ineffective against Arsenal, it was like having no CB.

Yes I 100% back Bielsa - the man who turned a bunch of Championship also runs into Champions.

20 Dec 2021 10:54:34
True to form eh Baz!
Welcome back indeed…Well currently the only team (s) worse than Leeds are…

Norwich
Newcastle
Watford
Burnley

And before you tell me they have games in hand they have to win those games, everyone has to play the top four at sometime.

Newcastle with only two/ three first team players out only lost 4-0 to Citeh compared to our seven nil thrashing, same points though eh?

We all know it’s bleak, dark, worrying but again, all the fans at the stadium are not turning on our manager or our team.

Really had hoped Ed001’s feedback he gave you recently may have helped, oh well merry Christmas!

I noticed MB having a sly dig at the PL, saying that there is no rule to allow for postponement of matches because of injury, suspension or sickness. i. e. why should CV allow a postponement? I know I’m going slightly off topic, but we are decimated by injury, and that is the sole reason for our struggle, IMO, but why should the idiocy of players refusing vaxs allow their matches to be postponed!?

Great point well made Brighty 👍👍👍.

20 Dec 2021 11:56:17
A very logical point Brighty but I imagine the EPL are all nodding at each other and agreeing that this is Leeds United and with any luck they’ll be relegated, let’s do sweet FA.

20 Dec 2021 12:16:41
Alf - getting a mid table championship club promoted yes fine, but so have a vast array of many other managers done so such as Warnock numerous times; were the likes of Warnock, Farke, Wilder capable enough in EPL for any length of time? similar Bielsa?

20 Dec 2021 12:26:54
OP injuries are not the sole reason for the demise of LUFC

yes injuries especially the loss of Bamford and KP are hindering us a lot but both players were available earlier in the season and LUFC have been pretty much woeful preseason and all season.

Orta's lack of quality recruitment and Bielsas man2 man system this season are also a severe hindrance, the loss of strong characters and good players in Pablo and Alioski certainly have not helped either.

20 Dec 2021 12:36:31
Well said Brighty it should all be treated the same. Isn't c.v. an sickness?

20 Dec 2021 12:35:42
Well said op.

20 Dec 2021 14:54:54
Baz ran home with his ball after he took a deserved telling off from Ed1.
Now he’s back after licking his wounds spouting the same crap.
Welcome back Baz it ain’t been the same without ya!

20 Dec 2021 15:45:59
Cork, say it as I see it as you know, it was 11 days sabbatical from me on this forum
whilst Leeds lost 3 more games, conceded 15 goals
won just 3 games out of 18 none in preseason

anyway let's hope things will improve.

20 Dec 2021 19:33:21
Let’s hope so Baz. Still plenty of games to go.
