Prediction At 4he start of 2022 we have no more than 17 points. Probably 16. Let's see.

hopefully better than that Hess

and hopefully not of course

but the stubborn, perverse, underperforming MB could more than feasibly relegate Leeds if

1) he is unable to obtain complete 90 minute performances from LUFC this season ( we are yet to see even one complete 90 minute performance this season)

2) LUFC do not stop getting injuries to key players

3) MB is unable to stop making illogical substitutions that are costing us a lot of points from winning positions

4) LUFC do NOT make signings in Jan that strengthen the 1st team

time for MB, VO, AR, AK and the 49ers to sort it.

I think most on here will agree that we don’t expect to take any points in these next 4 games, that being said we all know Leeds and know it’s like us to win a couple of them although I highly doubt that.

This situation will inevitably leave us much closer if not in the bottom 3, which is unacceptable.

We simply have to add quality in January despite Bielsa’s stubbornness will probably result in them not being played.

With these issues at hand and no clear plan B, the loss of our intensity and unwillingness to play the under 23’s, as much as I respect Marcelo and all he has done upto now. Is this now the time to make that call going into the January window and hope things can be turned around?

Lots will be blinded by loyalty and this ridiculous notion that we’re too good to go down and there’s worse teams than us!

I as many will agree though that way back when we were plunged into oblivion.

It’s a big big call for Radz and co but if he wants that magic £400m in 2024 then he’s got to start making some big calls and soon, and spending some proper money for proper players be it loans or permanent as we are in a desperate situation or rather we will be by xmas.

It’s the lack of belief, intensity and the fact we don’t create much and can’t keep a clean sheet that’s the biggest worry for me.

That’s the spirit, zero points before we’ve kicked a ball over Christmas. Don’t forget Christmas is a special time when wishes and dreams do come true, we could possibly field the same team at Citeh as the last time we won away with 10men why shouldn’t lightning strike twice it’s Christmas!

You are clearly showing that the honeymoon is over for Bielsa. And as far as, we do not hate him, some of his tactics, selections and his substitutions are a little bewildering.
I do hope that wishes do come true but I also know that Santa does not exist (Sorry Alf if that comes as a shock) so, to all the we can't go down mob. There is no such thing as too good to go down. Having said that, there is still a long way to go and, knowing Leeds, many a twist.

Radz is the majority owner, the buck stops with him, he and only he makes all the decisions. The 49er’s have made a provisional agreement that they’ll buy the club in two years time. The 49er’s have already made money available for transfer deals, my guess is that they probably don’t want to invest heavily as they are not the majority owner, if things for Leeds do go pear shaped, which I seriously doubt, then financially it’s not going to bother them too much. Deals do fall through.
Radz did spend about 45Mil on buying Leeds but he has probably invested abouti 200Mil of his own money into the club.
Bielsa’s appointment was to get us into Prem and stabilize our position also and most importantly implementing his brand of football.
I think there is an understanding between Radz and Bielsa that he can achieve all this without over spending.
It has been a difficult season so far but I believe we are starting to turn the corner and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get more than the expected points in December.
I still don’t see how we can buy top quality players in January especially when you are looking at 40Mil minimum. Sure we can buy some Championship bench warmers that will be vastly overpriced, but I can’t see Radz gambling his money like that. Plus those signings would all have to hit the ground running! Unlikely.
I think a little reality has to nestle in somewhere with all these high expectations. Injuries have dented anything spectacular for this season, but I can 100% feel assured that we will not be relegated. That’s not a hope.

200 MILL of HIS OWN money really?
Op surely you understand the difference between personal + business guarantor

Yes he clubbed in during c.v. and supposedly spent a reported 12-15 mill but where do you think these equity sales are going and ultimately who shall be the main benificary of the sale?

He's a very successful businesses man, not a silly man prepared to pump 200 million of HIS OWN CASH into LUFC

And by the way he's quiet entitled to be a very successful / wealthy man.

Yeah right Leo! Whose knee was I sat on at the weekend then?

#ibelieve.

Chris, I think you know very well I didn’t mean he coughed 200Mil from under his mattress.
I believe you are just frustrated because you know that the club isn’t going to do a Peter Ridsdale in the January transfer window.
Trying to make me look simple doesn’t rattle me either.

Maybe I am missing something in the above comment,
Or maybe its a coded message only some poster can decipher, or maybe no one knows

I not rattled neither by the way.

And we shall see OP, because according to your good self, we ain't signing anyone in January, don't swerve it now with your world class type players excuse

No one signed you said for a fair while on this forum .

Tick Tock.

Chris you’re being infantile. I don’t come on this site to prove anything I just give my opinions.

If you look at the past recent years of transfer buying in January you will note that Leeds are not big spenders in this window, and when we have bought it’s mainly trash like JKA and Lauren de Bock even Idaguchi.

The only player we have bought of any caliber in the last 15 years or so in January was Pablo.

If we do buy it will be a one for the future which I believe Struijk was one of those in the January window some years ago.
