After the euphoria of the win against Palace, back to the business of the next game against Brentford ; a game that LUFC should definitely be seeking another valuable 3 points.

Scoring goals remains the current issue : last season Bambam, Harrison, Dallas, Klich scored 40 goals between them ; this season due to lengthy injury and loss of form so far just 4 goals ( 2 of which were in the League Cup for JH)

Bambam must play against Brentford, or at least coming on from the bench,

Dallas hopefully can start scoring by being further up the pitch picked in midfield once Ayling is back ;

Gelhardt needs to be on the pitch instead of the non scoring Roberts

and hopefully JH will rediscover his form and goals but he needs to be playing by at least coming on from the bench

and Bielsa needs to be told by AR and VO that 2 or 3 goalscoring players are needed to bolster LUFC goals tally in Jan window ; LUFC need to sign prolific assists and goals attacking midfield Swift in Jan window.

BazVid, get your trunks on mucka, I am with you on the punt on Swift. I have been watching him since Bielsa name checked him in our Championship days. Out of contract in the summer, his team is nearer relegation than promotion, can see Reading getting a few bob to bolster their relegation fight and us getting an accomplished attacking midfielder.

LEEDS will disappoint everyone AGAIN!

Omg, our shining light is back. Wondered where you were during this interlude of positivity

hooksie what a waste of your typing skills.

Hooks. Depressin man. sorry you have to be that way.

Also Reading need money after FFP sanctions (which is why they are low down in the league- 6pt deduction I seem to remember)

Hooksie that’s the pain that love brings

If I cared to add it up, then my beloved Leeds United have most certainly failed more than succeeded, but my friend, just like with any loved one, it’s the merest 0-1 away at Citeh with 10 men and your smitten all over again.

Don’t listen to the “it’s the hope that kills ya mantra”

Just open your heart to the magnificence that is Leeds United, it’s a beautiful thing my friend. 💙🤍💛.

Hooksie, some might say that the only thing about that comment that surprises is that it’s not all in CAPS LOCK.

Feel the force, resist the Dark Side. Embrace the joy of being part of the Leeds family, with a manager who has transformed the outlook of our Club (and some would say the city) , a squad we can genuinely feel an affinity with, a loyal fanatical fanbase and owners who are trying their best to meet our expectations - with the prospect of a full transition of ownership to take us to the next level.

Yes there will be bumps along the way this season - enjoy the good bits and let those sustain you through the harder times. Despite the best endeavours of hostile pundits, the squad are still united behind Bielsa and the penalty incident v Palace shows that they have realised that VAR will tend not to review incorrect decisions unless we bring it to their attention by getting in the ref’s face. Things are likely to improve when Bamford’s back in harness.

Life has been really s#it for me this year (and for the two previous for that matter) , and doubtless for others on here too. My religious faith and the resurgence of the Leeds family under Bielsa have been two things that have helped sustain me through the darkest times. So, keep strong Hooksie, there is joy to be had within the Leeds family if you seek it.

Sorry to hear life has not been good Clu. Here to listen if you ever want to talk?

03 Dec 2021 15:36:01
good posts Class and Clu

as someone myself known on here by some as ( uber) critical, although I definitely see it more as realism and I certainly have made many, many posts of praise too to balance things up a tad

the thing is Hooksie
I maybe wrong but I seem to recall that ALL of your posts are either dismissive, critical or negative not even one positive post ever.

just Occasionally you could perhaps write a constructive, appreciative, praiseworthy post just for a change as there have been plenty of times you could have done so over the past 3 years.

Cheers Alf.

I think Hooksie is one of the editors. When ever us posters start to sing from the same hymn sheet, the factions unite, up pops thus hooksie bloke to stir the pot. Just enough to get more posts going. do editors get paid by the number of posts they edit? . just saying!

{Ed001's Note - don't be a child. This site earns next to nothing and wouldn't be worth our while being so stupid as your nasty insinuation. We don't do clickbait, we provide this for free to you and still you want to slag us off! You really are not worth the bother.}

03 Dec 2021 18:22:08
Ed001.my comment was only tongue in cheek. trying to fathom some sort of reason for Hooksies sporadic and negative posts. lighting blue touchpapers.

Thank goodness someone put a thumbs up to my post.
I read and re-read what I had originally written and still couldn't see how I had been both insinuating and slagging.
