On the subject of Bamford, credit were credit is due. A certain section of our incredible supporters were very vocal at the beginning of the season about our lack of cover for Bamford and, in an effort to show we can actually take our rose tinted glasses off, I agree that your fortune telling has come to pass.
However, I don't think even us rose tinted glasses brigade ever actually disagreed with you on that one.
My personal wish was for a BETTER centre forward than Bamford which would have allowed Bamford to drop to the bench and give it some quality. However, if £25m was our budget for an attacking player I am glad we bought James, as that size of budget would only get the left leg of a decent centre forward.
