With our full squad we would have beat Spurs, but that’s not taking anything away from the performance of the players.
Fantastic opportunity for Joffy to develop, he’s going to be a huge asset to the club in time.
Excellent first half, pity we couldn’t find that second goal, probably would’ve secured the three points.
Conte managed to rally his players into top gear and that against our patched up squad was too much.
I really don’t give a monkeys about all you fellas ranting on that we’re getting relegated and we should’ve spent money we don’t have on a like for like player squad like Man City.
We’re all entitled to our opinions but I can’t get up in the morning thinking the team I love is going to be relegated and it’s not even December!
With a bit of luck our full squad will be back and we can wreak a little havoc in the Premiership.
I can’t see us making any desperate moves for transfers in January, we will get by and it’s a great opportunity for the likes of Joffy, Drameh and Mackinstry to develop further.
This is an exciting evolution of the club and I for one am fully behind it.

Great post OP absolutely spot on mate 👍👍.

For the record I HAVE NEVER SAID RELEGATION .
My claim is struggling season, so whatever way you want to slide the narrative OP do it but don't ever say I said relegation

We played very well yesterday 1st half, 2nd was a different story, so I did enjoy our football the 1st 45

And I will also claim, we will strengthen in January as the partners are getting concerned about their investment.

Chris I never point my finger and name names, I really don’t care who says it.
As for strengthening in January, who is going to be available at a non inflated price and better than what we’ve got.? Plus it usually takes a while before players adapt to Bielsa’s football. I personally can’t see anyone coming in and the young ones will fill in for the injured.
Of course if we do buy in January then people will say, why doesn’t Bielsa give the youngsters a go.
Damned if does and damned if he doesn’t.

Sadly I'm more of a worrier than you OP so the future does concern me but I'm also hopeful that we will be fine. Agree about Jan - not much value there. Tge big hope is the yoof cab fill the gaps and we get a couple of seniors back. Glad Firpo returned at the weekend and hopefully he will get a run now. That will certainly help.

Chris save your energy mate

these "discussions" are not going to change anything anyway as none of us have any direct influence at all on what happens at LUFC

what will be will be.

Not my only, but my biggest frustration at the moment is that if the Big Man had listened to us weeks ago he would have already jettisoned Roberts and we would have had a young striker with a few games under his belt, going at a bang average Spurs defence.

Let’s just be Leeds and that’s it.

I always thought this site was to exchange views. Nobody believes it's going to affect anything at the club. We know with all our players available we could have won against spurs - the point is we didn't and we didn't have the back up players to make a difference. All clubs get injuries but some can cope better than us. Just conversation!

Hear, hear, well said OP 👍.

So true Hess. I’m going to drop in the old adage of “We need a bit of luck, to turn the corner”. we’ve had naff all so far this season.

Bright have to agree with you, luck has been against us with all the players out hopefully when they are back we will push on,
