Not liking at all Watford beating Man U ( yes even though it is them ) 2 nil as hoping/ thinking that Watford would/ could be one of the relegated teams

Be interested if any poster including the likes of the rose tinted crew top 6 cough cough OP, my ole mucka Axey, Class, MG, Richie etc which 3 ( or more) EPL clubs will DEFINITIVELY finish below Leeds come season end. Surely that should be very easy for the rose tinted crew.

My pre season prediction that with Leeds needlessly inadequate small squad and terrible summer recruitment that LUFC therefore had to avoid injuries to key players or we would be in a relegation battle proving correct so far

the continued absence of Bamford with very few goals being scored by the team is increasingly becoming very damaging.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2021 16:05:55
I never said top 6, your negativity is painful to read, your always looking for a way to knock certain players, the manager, the chairman, and Mr Orta (who i am not a fan of by the way) , we haven't even played and the negativity ouses out.

20 Nov 2021 16:12:24
BazVid your just plain deluded

Why on earth do you think we are going to waste time on other teams. That's your paranoid issue, we just care about Leeds

Poor deluded fool.

20 Nov 2021 16:22:24
We seem to get injuries that the recovery period seems to go on and on without much in the way of updates. Ayling and Bamford got injured on September 17th, who would have thought 2 months on and no sign of them? As for Koch, let's hope it's not another Forshaw situation. Regarding tomorrow, any chances that come we must take. We could do with James and Harrison getting a goal to get some confidence. I am hoping we can build on the Leicester performance and get a point.

20 Nov 2021 16:34:06
Not going to rise to your unnecessary needling Baz, enjoy supporting Leeds for the rest of the season, which I doubt you can.
I will always believe and enjoy watching Leeds these days.

20 Nov 2021 16:51:11
Incorrect yet again Baz. I have never said Top 6, I just don’t continually attack the Leeds hierarchy like you. Are you only happy when you have something to moan about? Do you not have any mates to spend a bit of time with or are they bored with you constant narrative as well? Are you even a Leeds fan, I wonder.

20 Nov 2021 17:57:00
On the contrary MG, Richie and others, the top 6 prediction referred specifically to only OP and his top 6 prediction

and MG and OP I enjoyed most of previous 3 seasons and made plenty of positive and appreciative comments on this forum thanks

but it is impossible OP to 'enjoy' my beloved team Leeds United be sucked into a relegation battle ;

and my ole mucka Axe you might actually want to care come April but anyway

and as expected noone can definitively name 3 teams

earlier in the season Chris, Alf and myself received a lot of criticism from some re our realism ( or as you refer to it negativity) at the moment we are 17th that is a FACT! and have generally not been scoring much nor generally playing well again a fact

I will be absolutely delighted when Leeds hopefully climb the table.

20 Nov 2021 19:01:40
Can't remember who I had down for my top 6 in the "Premier League" prediction, but I am fairly sure I had BazVid down in the top two for the most "delusional poster" category. still feel that one on for a success. thanks all for voting

Ole.

20 Nov 2021 19:29:18
lol Axe keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better

come season end I do indeed hope you and others are correct and I and others are proved wrong

because that will most importantly the thing that matters to me is that Leeds have climbed the table far from danger at the very least.

whereas if I am proved right ( hopefully not ) that will I guess be potentially a most bitter double whammy for you that will probably annoy you sooooo much that both you and your hottub will spontaneously COMBUST.

20 Nov 2021 19:31:44
Baz, it’s quite bizarre how you configure that the season is as good as done with 27 more games to play. You are a defeatist of the highest order.
If you were in the trenches with me I’d have to shoot you on a moral principle. You give up far too easily.
Leeds still to finish in top ten and yes possibly 6th.

20 Nov 2021 19:49:52
I havebt given uo OP.

20 Nov 2021 20:17:07
Baz, if we win tomorrow we’re up to 13th and are 3 points behind Man U in the European slots. There’s a long way to go in the season, and Europe whilst unlikely is hardly out of the realms of possibility.

20 Nov 2021 20:43:24
very true Brockley there is indeed a long way to go in the season Le Definitely hope so with the wins for LUFC and also for all our players to remain healthy, uninjured with especially Pat Bamford back fully recovered and scoring lots of goals for LUFC asap.

20 Nov 2021 23:08:10
Indeed we were ridiculed for our predictions but the way I see it we saw the writing in the wall.

Don't know which posters it was nor do I care but very sadly we have been proven to be correct.

Pray we survive this season and better things will come as the yoof mature.

20 Nov 2021 23:33:39
What writing in the wall?
Is the season already over or is there still 27 games to play?
We haven’t had a great start to the season but there’s still a shed load of games to play yet.
Alf it’s only your opinion and perhaps one or two others that think our season is already finished.
Good grief, I simply despair at the negativity of some of you posters.

21 Nov 2021 00:12:53
Writing o rather wall that we had a great opportunity to strengthen and push on but instead we have stagnated and let others overtake us. Yes still plenty of games left but I doubt they will be seeing us push top 6.

21 Nov 2021 11:40:39
Ha ha some on this group would make the contestants that used to enter Big brother seem like sound minded contestants .

Amazing the amount of selective amnesia displayed also . This season was going to be a definite improvement on lasts outing according to a core group of football guru's on here

Ye couldn't type fast enough to throw all the negative phrases at us, saying we know nothing, all moan moan moan was all we done .

Well lads here we are into december. almost and we 100% are sucked in, A more honourable man would say, hands up lads ye called it

But no, the ego of the gurus continues and all you get is, ye are rubbish supporters as all we do is moan and gripe

Someone said yesterday oh if we win we are up into 13th I think

Well if we don't then what's the position we in Sunday evening again?

Lads NO ONE wants to see us struggle, but in fairness we said at start of season this would happen and we were laughed out of it . Without a serious upturn in form we could be in a serious pickle come Xmas .

Crowd will turn on a few players by then guaranteed as there have been rumbles of it already.

21 Nov 2021 11:58:42
Chris you called it 100 % and ' the ego of the gurus ' on this forum soooo apt.

21 Nov 2021 12:01:27
If we are around the same position in the last quarter of the season then I’ll put my hands up and say there’s something not working right here, I’ll then join hands with you grumpy old men and have a moan.
I’m still absolutely certain we will finish in the top half of the table so until then I’ll leave the moaning to you blokes who have no faith in our chairman, Dot, coach and players.
Sometimes MOT.

21 Nov 2021 12:38:40
The same chairman' who only a few weeks ago in Lisbon has spoke of the 4 fold increase in his 100 million initial stake is it OP?

He is. just a better looking more affable chairman, than others but IMO his own interests nare far +away ahead of LUFC 's .

Also I will take a little credit come January when we strengthen the squad as all along there was no money for that, but Lowey +Marathe will be after having words to sort that .

He's not chairman for the love of. pur club OP.

21 Nov 2021 13:04:02
Chris, there’s not many chairmen who are fans of their club. It’s his business and like any businessman he wants to be successful. If he felt for one minute he can’t get anymore from his asset, he’d obviously sell. What I admire about Radz is that he’s not gambling with our club like Ridsdale did. For some fans they have some bizarre notion that the club has a endless pit of money that it can spend at will on world class players.
This club of ours is evolving in the correct way, have some patience, we do not have a sheikh or a oligarch as our owner.

21 Nov 2021 13:29:08
I take your logic as very accurate OP, however the issue I have with him is some people seem to think he is ALL ABOUT LEEDS, yes he is all about Leeds but with the caveat that Andrea is very very well taken care of

We all know The 9'ers are going to be the gaffers soon enough., Andrea will leave the hotseat and most likely repeat this whole process in Italy with a lower club.

I always believed he bought Leeds as a means to an end . However he has indeed made us glamorous again and more importantly INVESTABLE .

That's the name of the game I know, but I just feel he does it a bit too much for the image of. it and quells any talk of the cash he is making personally from this.

21 Nov 2021 13:57:36
Neither those of a more negative mindset or those who have been more positive have been proved right/ wrong. There’s still a long way to go, and many things can change, both for Leeds and for the other clubs.

Yes, if our current injury run continues AND our form doesn’t kick on AND we don’t react by adding new signings in January, we would likely be in the mix for relegation.

Conversely, if Bamford and Ayling return fairly soon and other key players do not succumb to injury AND our form returns to the levels seen towards the end of last season AND we add one or two players to the squad in January we could sneak into the European places.

Those two scenarios lie at either end the spectrum of possible outcomes for this season. In theory, each could happen, but currently the greater probability is that the actual outcome will be somewhere in between.
