Just reeling back to the Raphinha possible January sale. I think it would take a ridiculously high bid to make Radz even contemplate selling him in this window. As we have argued already with Bamford out our only goal source is coming from Raph.
So what figure could Radz not turn down?
If he doesn’t want to risk Leeds being relegated he’s got to be looking at an amount well above 100Mil, and there’s still no assurance that he can plug that gap, also who would pay that,? possibly PSG, don’t think Liverpool could afford without offloading.
I think it’s safe to say he’ll be staying at least till end of this season.

OP for me there is zero chance of Raph leaving this Jan window, but very disappointingly likely he will do so next Summer
but LUFC will have done very well indeed if Brighty's scenario is right and Raph actually leaves AFTER the World Cup as
1) his transfer value will definitely have increased more and
2) LUFC will have got perhaps crucially a 3rd season of Raph.

Whitey - heard some pundits last week saying Ole had made a mistake in selling James, as he was the one winger he had that was actually suited to the system he needed to play with Ronald in the team, as none of the others were willing to press consistently and/ or to cover back.
As I’ve said before, James has only played 82 minutes on the pitch at the same time as Bamford, has been played in a number of positions, with an ever changing cast of teammates, and is still learning Bielsaball - therefore far to early to judge the lad.
