Well not much banter on the subject Leeds Utd with the international break. Meanwhile, the headlines are now on whose going to take the Villa job.
Gotta say I was very surprised they got rid of Smith so soon.
The bookies favorite Gerard I think would be a dangerous step for him, he can’t do much wrong at Rangers at the moment and I think if he stays patient enough picking up SPL trophies when Klopp does leave I’m certain the overwhelming call from the Liverpool fans for him to return will be too much for the owners to ignore.
Besides what could he do with Villa, it’s very unlikely he’d get them into Europe.
Only problem is for Gerrard it could be a long wait until Klopp leaves and Liverpool comes calling.
Unlike Gerrard, over ambitious fat Frank has had to set his sights a little lower and looks a possible Norwich appointment could be beckoning.
If he does get the job there and fails, I think it’s a punditry job for Fat Frankie.
Finally it looks very likely that Ole is staying at Man U, happy days.!

I would be a fair bit surprised if Gerrard left Rangers during the season.
Probably won't happen but am hoping tha Lampard and Terry join forces to become the " dream team " management at Villa to see how successful ( or not ) they would be.

I agree OP. It would be a suicide mission for Gerrard to drop Rangers for Villa; a career breaker, as Chelsea was for Lambturd. Going to Villa would cost him the
Liverpool job in the end, for sure.

Baz - rather than a ‘dream team’ at Villa, I was hoping they’d spread the joy (as JT seems to like the idea of being the top dog somewhere) with one of them at Norwich and the other at Villa, don’t really mind which way round.
