There were several on here that were very quick to condemn Forshaw and Radz decision to stick with him. On his performance today you were wrong.
Harrison needs to make better decisions rather than trying to take on three or four defenders.
James needs to practice more at his shooting, confidence issue he will overcome it. I thought Raph and Dallas were more effective with their attacking.

Your post is I believe more than a tad inaccurate OP

I don't recall any poster 'condemning Forshaw or Radz decision to stick with Forshaw ' ( ok maybe Chris possibly did from memory )

but it was definitely posters expressing concern far more why Radz and Orta had not signed additional midfield reinforcements to supplement the team squad as we had heard all summer from LUFC club sources were the intended positional priority summer window signings

(and let's face it we have had over a quarter of the season already with this midfield problem till todays potential solution)

that said I am absolutely delighted for Forshaw today ( and Bielsa and Radz ) and want to see Forshaw in the first eleven fit and giving us more control like today.

still believe though LUFC should also seek an extra CM ( loan ) option in Jan window.

Plenty on here damned Radz and Orta for saying Forshaw coming back to fitness negated our need to invest in a forward thinking midfielder. Plenty.

Indeed nad I still maintain it was foolish to rely on the fitness of Forshaw rather than bringing in additional cover. Had we fit alternatives from the start of the campaign we could be pushing top 6 by now instead of being in a relegation dogfight. Hopefully Forshaw can stay fit and continue to justify his spot but that is still a risk as things stand.

Forshaw has 1 handy game in 2 years and ye are now claiming that he's the answer we need .

I really can't believe how Simplistic that comment is, let's see where we are come May as regards Adam.

It was either op or axe that told me Rodi would score a lash of goals this season, that is also looking very accurate, hey lads?

08 Nov 2021 10:09:23
Forshaw did play well but as others stated, one game in 2 years, can’t believe you saying that Optipesst.
He did make us look more solid but after soooooo
long out, had to question if he would get fit.

08 Nov 2021 10:24:17
Look, Forshaw may not come good over time, although he had a positive game yesterday perhaps 2 years out and further complications with his injury might be too much. My point is don’t condemn every player at the drop of a hat. It’s a very instant society we live in, the same goes for football. Give the fella a chance to prove he’s got it at this level. You’ve got to give it to him he’s got a lot of courage and belief to get himself this far and usually people with a strong belief in themselves do come good.
Don’t go feeling offended by my comment, it’s not meant to give someone a dig. If we are wrong in what we say sometimes, just wear it, and move on. I’ll do the same with no shame.

08 Nov 2021 10:53:23
Nah. Not saying he is the answer at all. Just that OP was right in his statement that many on here slated the decision.
I agree, we should have 100% bought an attacking midfielder. Everyone on here knows and undoubtedly does not dispute it. Forshaw yesterday though, was excellent. Let’s hope he keeps it up.

08 Nov 2021 10:54:51
Agreed 1 good game doesn’t make a good season. What Forshaw does offer us is more help for Kalvin defensively in the centre of the park. In my opinion we need another good CB ( unless Koch eventually gets to that level)
A quality finisher and a creative spark midfielder.

OP, I can't remember anyone slagging the lad off. I think we were, and still are, holding our breath and hoping he comes good. I do think Radz can sound naive at times with some of his statements. I have no idea why he can't treat us as adults and say "we are hoping that Forshaw comes good because we need that position filled but are unable to look at alternative players whilst we have him on the pay role. I think we all have to budget our monies so we can understand an adult reason like such

Chris, I didn't predict a "lash of goals" as to me lash is more associated with being "on the lash" but I do use the term "raft of goals" now and again. However on Rodrigo's case I doubt I would have gone that optimistic. I would say that I believe his goal return this year will be better than the previous season and as we are still only a third of the way through the season I find you a tad premature (there is a Carry On line in there but I am leaving it for others) with your berating of my opinion. I believe he is ahead of his stats of last year at the moment.

08 Nov 2021 12:09:33
No offence meant axe, I sincerely mean that I not berating you in the sense of an argument, I just saying we think differently .

I just can't believe we didn't buy a CAM in the summer, someone who could hit ground running

Also my use of the term " lash " equates to lots,

As in I had a lash of beer yesterday!

Which by the way I didn't 🤣🤣🤣.

08 Nov 2021 13:40:20
Lol Chris! I’m having a lash of beer later for sure! 🤣🤣🤣😁.
