LUFC injury list news continues to disappoint

Bamford might have had his best ever season thriving in front of pressure free empty stadiums in 2020/ 21 but LUFC need him back asap to overcome this injury and improve team performance, goals scored and points accumulation

With a lot of tough away games in the next 6 weeks I believe it is imperative that LUFC attain 2 wins or at least a win and a draw in next 2 home games against Leicester and Palace.

I wonder about people saying we need goals (yes we do) and can't wait for BamBam but how do you know you are lacking goals until you try all alternatives. Surely young Gelhart is wondering, when is it my turn also getting frustrated as he sees the misfiring alternatives that are picked in front of him. No, we may not lack goals if you just give the lad a try.

yes Leo,

I agree that Gelhardt needs and deserves ( far more ) game time to see if he can provide much needed goals and assists.

however LUFC need far more from each player of the team/ squad to step up with goals and assists, Harrison, DJ, Dallas, Klich, KP, Roberts and the defenders need to start scoring and assisting.

Gelhardt has played twice and yet to score. NEXT!

Alf good grief

Gelhardt has scored plenty of special amazing goals in the U23 demonstrating that he knows how to finish

Gelhardt has played twice in the EPL created a penalty ( assist) from which LUFC scored and was close to scoring himself in that game but for a very good save.

He also converted with aplomb a penalty in the League Cup

So yes Gelhardt certainly deserves more game time and I am confident he will score goals, assist goals and be fouled and get penalties

Alf would you prefer Roberts keeps getting game time instead of Gelhardt?

Agree Baz. Alf, give your head a wobble son?

My opinion is simply that youngsters get their opportunity to prove themselves, in training. We cannot take the risk of giving players “a chance” in games where we need points. It could lead to our relegation doing so, and destroy the player. Ease them in with subs minutes is the only way imo, and is exactly what MB is doing.

Just a joke lads - calm down ;)
