Stories around Liverpool and the Devon mob securing KP’s signature in January window are definitely gaining momentum.
Ordinarily this becomes a straight fiscal (business decision) based upon the players age, length of contract, other options in your squad.
But this is KP one of our own and most importantly a player when out of our team we find it almost impossible to win.
So the conundrum is, does Radz cash in, certainly not for a paltry £60m that’s for sure, but there’s not many sound items from KP’s side saying everyone chill I’m going to sign the contract.
The same will apply to Raphinia although we MAY be able to manage his absence slightly better and with appropriate replacement (s)
January’s window just might determine whether our team stays in the premier and continues to consolidate its position or ……
well I do not want to consider the alternatives but think the threat is real.

If we sell Phillips or raph in January. If we do. Please let it be for more than 80 mill each. And on the first day of window and spend at least 60 mill on each replacement second day of January window.
If we are even considering either. Line up their replacements already.

Seems highly unlikely that we would sell either in January, as there’d be few if any options out there for us to buy as replacements, and Bielsa wouldn’t want to be inducting recruits in such key areas to Bielsaball halfway through the season. There’s no suggestion that either of them are pushing to move in January. Probably just ‘big-6’ biased, anti-Leeds press trying to destabilise us.

Class Don't forget that when I posted similarly a week ago Brighty described my opinion as utter tosh again. So in same vein your opinion must equally be garbage lol. Both KP and Raph shall be sold probably for a combined fee in the region of £180m. Stadium expansion project costs must be balanced but I can only see these sales in summer not January.

Selling either in Jan would be bemusing and damaging and you feel PR Radz would lose most if not all goodwill to him from. the Leeds supporters
If PR Radz sells KP or Raph in. Jan. he can definitely kiss goodbye to the EPL this season in what would prove to be an almighty negilgent balls up of a season due in most part the shoddy, inadequate summer transfer window recruitment under VO, MB AR, AK
Is Radz now fearful of the R word given our seasons perfomances and results so far and . as such very open to cash in on KP. amd Raph in a Jan. window where top dollar would be attained as opposed to a summer window having been potentially R and therefore in a much less stronger position to get top dollar.
If LUFC had recruited. successfully thus far more likely having a strong season there is no way either would be sold in the Jan. window.

Baz or Bazooka lol Think it's pretty obvious insufficient money right now in the club and Dan James was an unnecessary buy by Radz designed to placate Bielsa whom presumably would've thrown toys out of pram had we refused to get him once he became available. We'd have been better off going in for Brownhill or Olise. We're desperately lightweight in central midfield. Teams know how to play against us now and Bielsa can't cope. You were right when you called Canaries a must win. A loss surely sees Bielsa walk. A draw ain't a bad result. I'd play Gelhardt from the start along with Rodrigo. We need goals. I'd also play Forshaw with KP and Shack. Drameh must retain place at RB. Dallas Cooper Roberts Klich must be dropped to bench.

Whether we sell in January is entirely based on if we get an offer and high it is and how soon it is.
Any other opinion is pure sentiment.
If any clubs offer the dosh soon enough. Wait and see.

Lol I didn’t actually say it would happen George, but so am able to confirm (from Mrs Class) that most things I say write or do are complete and utter tosh.
Obviously do not want to lose either one of our best two players but believe we’re pretty skint right now and an £80m offer for either would (I believe) be accepted.
With the snake spouting about the player’s desire for CL football or a prior verbal agreement with the player. As to suitable replacements January not the best time to find anyone of a similar standard and close to it doesn’t come cheap.
Just no murmurings from KP camp, we now know how close KP was to joining villa previously and that the club had let the player decide, also think he’s time with England May have turned his head a little and once again playing CL football, financial security for him and his family, real possibility I fear.

Im with Clu on this one, inconceivable that we would sell KP or Raph in January unless the club is about to go into administration which there have been no reports of this. To sell either player for whatever price now would be potentially be signing up for relegation.
Both of these players are likely to be sold at some point but it’s definitely not in January.
