With the question mark over Midfield, would it be out of the question to go for Aaron Ramsey? He can't get a game at Juventus. He proved his fitness last night. He would be a cheap buy/ loan. It would allow Marcelo to slowly give U23s a few minutes ready for 22/ 23 season.

Certainly a great player, but he’d probably need to take a cut of at least 67% in his reported £400,000 a week wages for us to be able consider signing him. And knowing our luck, he’d probably get broken by someone like Fernandinho within a few weeks and be out for a season or more. Then Baz and others would have another to add to the list of supposed mistakes made by Orta.
