Alf I maintain my opinion about Radz contrary to CC view. He's just not a footballing person. Surrounded by footballing people yes but that doesn't make him knowledgeable on footballing matters especially our misfiring midfield.

George your misunderstanding my comment . I meant Radz is now a footballing man like it or not and the misfiring midfield is something you know I have also been very critical of for a long time .
Radz pays orta plenty of cash to find players so I am well aware Radz only really signs the cheques then
My initial comment is based on a) his arrogance +b) his naivety to think Forshaw would sort the midfield when Adam couldn't sort an under 12,s schoolboys boot camp with his history of injuries.

No, that's the issue. a lot of the decisions he makes are incredibly naive in terms of football. That's why Orta is even more dangerous as he will be one of the main advisers and his track record isn't great.

CC Don't see how you can be arrogant and naive simultaneously on the same issue. Also don't see how you can be naive and a footballing person at the same time either. Radz is no footballing person! Cheque signer yes. Part of the problem is Bielsa. Not sure he realizes how competitive this league is and what is at stake. I can see us spending in January. So many missed opportunities in the summer. Bielsa tactics look even more suspect given we probably have 3 world class players in our ranks, Meslier, KP and Raph. Had we recruited well and in central and attacking midfield, would be so different. Fine margins.

We need one more (attacking) world beater. Its all wella and good having two good defenders but it is vitally important the we have an attacker that can make things happen. That can affect the game. that get get the crowd holding their collective breath. Someone who can get us that all elusive goal when we are desperate. Pablo could, Raph can but we cannot always rely on Raphina. let's get a goalscoring midfielder in the summer, if not January.
