Going to be a tough game, Hammers are a very good team and think our injuries could make it too tough.
First match in awhile I don't think we'll win, missing Llorente, struijk, Koch, ayling, raphi and bamford just too big and shows lack of depth.
Always seem to have issues with unfit CB's but think we've been unlucky with this predicament, maybe Cresswell will start and be another success like struijk. Need to have strong MF and that means Phillips at DMF.

so you previously really genuinely expected Leeds to beat Liverpool and Man U a few games ago despite our very unconvincing performances throughout all friendlies and competitive games so far this season?

Think raph only one we will miss tbh. The rest not shown enough to miss so far. Let’s just blood the youth. Shacks. Cress. Gierlfady etc. get it out the way

Baz, i think any team would struggle to replace the amount we have injured right now. Nevertheless I’m still looking at our team to get a positive result against West Ham. I do think Chreswell will start, very impressed with his performance against Fulham. Also don’t be surprised to see Shackleton getting a start, maybe RB or DM alongside KP?
I also think Raph will be fit to play.
I’m not keen on Roberts but with Bam out I can only see Bielsa sticking him up front.
We were unlucky against West Ham last season, a bit of Lady Luck this time even with this depleted squad and we could win.
Baz you’ll never get me to doubt what I want our club to achieve this season, no matter what. I believe in Radz, Orta to sort the money and recruitment out when necessary and I believe in Marcelo Bielsa and the players to achieve the absolute maximum they possibly can this season on the pitch.
I truely enjoy watching the football we play now and am very grateful we have been given the opportunity compared to the crap we we had to endure for many years.
Onwards and Upwards.

It's frustrating that so far we just don't seem to have clicked as a team. I'm not sure what it is at all but every chance it could come together today and we could see something special. Yes it could be tough but we have to believe.

Agree baz and opt and Alf.
We moan cause we always want the best and to win but it is a joy to watch leeds now compared to 3 yrs ago.
They can be frustrating but also play such great football and the whole team are fit and positive.

From Bielsa’s presser it looks likely Cresswell will start, possibly with Hjelde on the bench, given he only had 45 mins Ayling seems unlikely to make it so Shack will probably start at RB, with Drameh on bench. Would love to see Drameh start, but Bielsa seems to be keen to give Shack as much game time as possible to help consolidate his development. When Ayling hangs his boots up (or perhaps has them hung up for him) Drameh is expected be first choice RB. Bielsa is obviously hoping/ intending that Shack will become part of the core squad group, mainly as a CM but also as a backup elsewhere, including RB and maybe DM.
It’s going to be a very difficult game, which would seem to require solidity in the midfield, which would seem to suggest we should play Dallas and Klich with KP, and Rodrigo up top. However it seems likely we’ll start as Dallas and Rodrigo with KP and Tyro up front.
Either way, we’ll probably need some luck, particularly on the reffing front (is that a pig I see flying over there) to get anything out of this game.
