It’s official, again. The football authorities are anti-Leeds.

Former referees state categorically that Pascal’s challenge was not worthy of a red card. Harvey Elliott himself said it wasn’t a red card challenge. Heung-min Son had his red card overturned last season for an almost identical incident.

But no, Pascal Struijk plays for Leeds United, so the red card stands.

Ed - any chance you could do one of your excellent articles about the times the football authorities have shafted our great Club. Though I guess it might take a book, rather than an article, to do the subject justice.

Actually, there has been a book about it - No Glossing Over It, by Gary Edwards, but that only covers the period up to the 2007/ 08 15 point deduction. So, any chance you could do an article on the period since then. There should be plenty for you to get your teeth into.

{Ed001's Note - that sounds like a really interesting idea actually. I have added that to the to do list. Maybe a comparison to how Derby gets treated when they regularly ignore rules? Just to show that it is not normal to get so many punishments, it helps to have a comparative of how someone else gets treated.}

Clu, this is no surprise, anti Leeds fervor comes to the surface yet again, I believe these knocks that are meant to weaken us, make us stronger.
We are Leeds United.

As I expected the anti Leeds is stronger than ever.

Yet again FA show wat a joke set up they are
Any chance of an explanation to why Sons was rescinded but Pascals wasnt
Even young Elliot said no red card, in fact even Gobby said on talksport never a red
MOT.

Cheers Ed. Derby comparison is a great idea.

{Ed001's Note - they are the obvious example of a team that could bury opponents on the pitch mid-game and receive no punishment.}

of course the FA cannot explain how they have gone against the Son precedent :

how can it be allowed that the FA announces a ruling decision on an appeal without publishing any reasons : bent farcical not fit for purpose FA needs disbanding.

Absolutely no surprise with the FA decision on not recinding the red card, Hard to argue the fact that there is a definite Anti Leeds bias with them. When Harvey Elliott himself calls it as an accident and not a foul, more class in that 18 year old young man then all them stuffed suits at the FA. They are a disgraceful old boys club, Hard not to feel aggrieved as a Leeds fan over the years at some of the unjust treatment we have received when the likes of clubs like Derby get treated differently. He interesting to see when another incident like this happens to any other club not called Leeds, what the outcome will be.

Surely the FA itself, and the members of its various committees and panels etc should also be bound by Rule E3 (1) of the FA Rules and Regulations with regards to improper conduct and bringing the game into disrepute. There has been a very clear breach of that Rule in the FA’s decision on this red card.

Hear hear Clu
LUST should start an online petition against the FA on numerous unfair decisions against Leeds including this one I'd sign all of them in a flash

Also a petition against the FA should be presented to the FA by LUST other Leeds groups in person at Lancaster Gate

Enough is enough.

15 Sep 2021 15:28:46
Clueless can you now transfer your sign in name to the appropriate place at Lancaster gate.

15 Sep 2021 17:14:08
Mez - not sure how that would help, as the FA left Lancaster Gate quite a while ago - moving to 25 Soho Square, only to relocate again to Wembley Stadium, perhaps so the postman wasn’t sure where to deliver all the forwarded complaint letters.

But on a serious note, I’m not sure I want to give up my sign in for that bunch of @$$#0€$.

15 Sep 2021 17:40:10
Stand corrected clue, still a bunch of bellends just in a different location. Maybe we should snub the FA cup but then again I think we've been doing that for awhile anyway.

15 Sep 2021 23:40:40
Or maybe we could try winning the FA Cup, just so they’d have to hand us something we wanted, rather than a ban, fine, points deduction, etc etc.

No, forget that, if we got anywhere near winning, they’d find some underhand way of stopping our progress.
