How did liorente and struik play together? . I must admit I'm still not convinced about struik. I'd prefer coops experience and as stated below, the facts are cooper is less expensive in giving away penalties. To date anyway.

Aus Struick still developing but he's class. He's a much superior player to Cooper. Given his young age, he's only going to improve.

Not sarcasm. Just not 100% convinced liorente and struik work as well as cooper and liorente. Struik and liorente seem to like to wander forward where as cooper is more defensive minded.

Every team that hasn’t rubbish loads of money have average players.
Some average players are not captain and respected like coop. He ain’t brilliant but give him some respect please. Pick on costa or roberts.

I hope KP keeps the captaincy as Coops should not be guaranteed starter :
but do agree with Aus though in that he is 100% Leeds, plays decent most of the time and deserves more respect than he receives from a minority.

Just because people have a different opinion to you Aus doesn't mean we don't see things.
Coops gives 100% and is vocal and the players vote him captain but his positioning is awful, he focuses on the man and forgets to jump for almost all crossed balls, he always holds on and gives away a large number of free kicks in poor positions. Struijk is significantly better IMO and will continue to improve and develop.
I expect if both were for sale we know who'd sell for the higher price!

Aus : Struick is the present and future for Leeds United
Coops is for me 4th choice CB behind 2 good CBs in Struick and Koch with Llorente in a class of his own as best.

Coops deserves respect not only for his leadership, but for his improvement, and passion to the cause. He shouldn’t be berated simply for those reasons, though I fully expect a fit Llorente and Koch to be our starting CBs.
