After our relegation, much of what we got from
Scottish clubs was “sub standardâ€. SPL is championship grade at best. So not a fan of Gers or Celtic fodder. Similarly… picking up dog botherer’s players is a risk. (Not least because “you don’t know where they’ve been… or rather you do know… and so wouldn’t want them touch them with a ten foot poleâ€)
Cajuste looked really sharp at Euro when he played. He’s at least got that “capped international†aroma about the fella… and that’s the level all our future signings should be at.
Willock putting pen to paper as we speak, drops Newcastle off the reckoning… so means Cajuste will come to us or Brentford for 14.5 million.
A dang good bit of business and right out of the Orta-value-playbook!
You heard it here first ;-)

Cant recall many Leeds signings directly from Scottish clubs this millenium but Robert Snoddy Snodgrass from Livingstone was superb for Leeds United a quality talented player with a good work ethic.

Nah. Nah. Both rubbish.

Snodgrass was excellent but don't forget when we signed him we were league 1 so at the time Livingston were on a par with League 1 in the English leagues.

I doubt we are even in for Cajuste so that means he is off to Brentford.

Yes but before we were 'interested' he was worth 5-8 million, now Bielsa 'wants' him he's worth 14 million.
Can't understand why we get linked with every available player 😂.

Of course Toronto
not forgetting our signing from the Scottish Premier League
the player in question, the creme de la creme, the main man
MR MARK VIDUKA.

And at £10 mill Baz, what a signing he was!

Absolutely Brighty
Viduka a superlative striker, a fantastic signing, an absolute steal at £6 million ( not even £10 million Brighty)
for a striker sooooo supremely technically gifted and so equally superbly adept at scoring goals :
inside the 6 yard box,
from 25 yards,
with his left foot
with his right foot
and
with his head
#the complete goalscorer.
