Will never happen but would love to see Dallas play centre Forward just to see how he would go. I reckon he could do a job. Really looking forward to this season. A couple of good purchases and we will be strong contenders for the euro places. MoT.

The Corktown Cafu used to play as a fwd by all accounts. Said for the last few years he could do a job there.

As I think I’ve mentioned on here before, Dallas played CF on occasions in his first year at Crusaders (scoring 16 goals - and picking up a couple of NI player of the year awards) , being pushed out onto the wings the following year when more experienced strikers were brought in to spearhead their European campaign. His manager there noted his rare ability to hold up the ball with his back to goal, then spin his defender either way. He could definitely hold his own up front, as we’ve seen his finishing abilities.
Also really looking forward to the coming season, even with the same players I’d have been confident of most stepping up a level, particularly Raphinha, Rodrigo and Harrison. Would expect them all to significantly increase both goals and assists. Coberts and Poveda have clearly hit the gym and bulked out over the summer, so seem well motivated to make more of an impact. Will be interesting to see how Baby Shacks gets on in pre-season, likewise the key players with the u23s last season. Not currently expecting any to become regular starters, but you never know with Bielsa - one of those guys is a standout performer in pre-season they could well get a look-in - though probably not against manure.
It seems we’re about to confirm Junior Firpo and if, as expected, we also bring in another winger and CM (hopefully of a fairly similar calibre) we should definitely be challenging for a euro spot. I’d still feel happier if we had better backup for Meslier.

Yes, there was a typo in my comment, should have been Coberts and Roveda. Not sure what my thoughts on Posta are for this coming season. 😜🤪.
