What a total plonker Carlton Palmer is - suggesting that KP would leave Leeds for Spurs if they came in for him.

Yeh seen it absolute idiot, pathetic statement to come out with.

As useless off the pitch as he was on it.

You can't expect any wisdom or logic as
Carlton Palmer is from Birmingham in other words very dim those Brummies 😜🤣.

Spurs will be nothing without Kane, no decent manager wants to go there. Spurs are in the decline. KP will stay with Leeds.

Baz, I know what you’re getting at 😜🤣, but Palmer was actually born in Rowley Regis, which strictly speaking is in the Black Country, not Brum.

Generally best not to tell anyone from the Black Country that they come from Birmingham, as they don’t like to be tarred with that brush. However, come to think of it, most of them would probably prefer that Palmer was thought to have come from Birmingham 😜.

That said, it looks like we’re in for Amari Miller from the blue side of Brum, and he looks to be an intelligent player by all accounts.

Black County Rowley Regis it is Clu ; just 6 miles from Birmingham though so close.

It’s been really strange watching Spurs seemingly implode over the last couple of seasons. It seems like they had become complacent about their place within the ‘big six’ and just saw the new stadium as affirming that position and helping them push for actual trophies. However Leicester’s continued presence near the top of the table (and victory in the FA Cup) and the resurgence of West Ham and ourselves last season is challenging their complacent assumptions. It also looked like Everton were becoming a threat, though who knows what will happen there if Benitez takes the reins.

Players, potential managers and possible sponsors may also be wondering currently whether Spurs are as safe a bet for continued European football and the financial success that can bring, and is it now even harder to see them winning a trophy any time soon.

Levy’s firm hand on the tiller was long seen as a positive influence at the club, but perhaps now it is being questioned, he clearly knows the cost of everything at the club, but has he always fully understood their value?

Of course they may yet find a decent manager willing to take gamble on them, and who can get a tune out of whatever players they buy if Kane is sold, but their fans must be feeling very pissed of and embarrassed by what is going on there currently.
