Are Leeds finding it difficult to recruit a specialist left back?

Is it as crucial that we do as posters such as Leo and Axe suggest? As ee have managed very well for most of 3 years without one. I believe that Alioski will stay.

For me far more important we spend the majority of our budget on a quality CM and CAM that win us games.

You might want to wait until the transfer window opens before worrying about whether we are finding it difficult to get a left back!

Orta is actually waiting to find a left back that no one has ever mentioned and then unviel him, as per.

Matt, not worried about signing a left back ( before or after transfer window)

my understanding is that transfers can be agreed in principle before transfer window opens, haven't Liverpool agreed in principle on the signing of Konate

Along with agreements in principle transfer window also open in just a few days time fella.

Leo- yeah I read that too ; not that excited by a left back signing, other positions are the key.

Gotta disagree re bringing in a quality LWB Baz, honestly think it could be our most important signing. Going forward wasn't really our problem last season, it was at the back, when Llorente got in the team our ppg went up a lot (from 1.2 to 1.8) . Add a quality LWB and he could easily be worth 6 points just from helping us get draws in games we lost last year. 6 more points would have been Europe this year.

Come on Gummie mate a quality CAM needs to be the most important signing not a blooming LB ;creating and scoring goals was an issue at times:

for instance we lost ridiculously 12 points from home and away defeats failing to even score to mediocre Wolves and Brighton we could have been playing till Christmas and not have scored in any of those games: a quality CAM is essential.

Don't get me wrong Baz we need a CAM too, I've said The last few weeks we need LWB, CM/ CAM and a LW/ RW but look at how many games we outplayed the other team and dropped points because we didn't do enough at the back. Goal scorers win games, a solid back line wins trophies, they pick up points and wins even when the forwards hit a rut. Just look at city this year, sorted out the back line and ran away with it or Pool, their wealth of attacking talent falling from grace with the loss of van Dijk. A LWB isn't as exciting a signing but honestly think it's what we need the most (also a good LWB will add goals and assists anyway Perraud and Sosa who we got linked with had as many goal contributions, 10, as most CAMs got in the prem this year) .
