Michy Batshuayi for 33m apparently. 2 goals for Palace last season but was that a lack of chances? I would only agree that if it was a loan ro buy so at least we could trial him first.

Batshuayi, no way. In a pecking order, he is behind both Bamford and Rodrigo and it would be touch and go if he was ahead of Roberts these days (only one more goal than Roberts and he played upfront in all his games) .
If we are looking at strikers then it has to be someone who is an improvement on what we have and such a level of striker is costly. I would definitely prefer to see the money used on improvements at left back initially and then look to bring in someone in the centre midfield that improves on what we have and improves those around him. Don't mind if that player is a No8 or a No10. Bielsa has shown he can incorporate both in to his systems.
Cover for Meslier and Phillips are nice to haves, but the immediate priorities should be improving the 1st XI year on year. Those displaced going on to improve the bench. The U23s will have enough on their plate thus year now they have deservedly taken a place at the top table.

In a word NO, no, no no, no. I would maybe buy him as cover for Gelhart. If the price was right and he didn't mind warming the bench.
