I understand that after every season there are always player rankings and awards, but for me there can be only one No 1 and that is the entire squad.
I cannot recall one game where a performance can be attributed to one player. The great performances have always been great team performances (and similarly the bad ones) .
Where a player has shone, it has usually also partially been because of the work by those around him.
Some are definitely more skillful than others and I am not trying to belittle anyone but, for me, it is the whole squad and coaching team that have made this season so memorable for me.

Sort of agree but even yesterday in a great win there were some that played at a high level and some that I feel were below the level they are capable. A team effort indeed but still some better than others.

I, sort of, agree with your sentiment but over a season there are those that have contributed consistently and those who have turned it on a little less so.
So ev en over a season the list of ward winners can be whittled down.
