So Bailly gets the ball and takes the man out with the follow through last night for Manchester United and a penalty is given then overturned by VAR. What was the difference between this and Cooper's challenge at Manchester City?

Agree1 Disagree0

Shirt colour of course, plus that padded envelope under the door as usual.

Bailly plays for man u, Cooper plays for leeds. Enough said.

No difference at all LUFCfeath the lack of consistency is absolutely shocking added to more than suspicious bias and favouritism towards a few clubs most obviously Penchester amongst a few others

the faceless sinister VAR goons continue to bring the integrity of football into disrepute and the impotent and / or collusive football authorities do absolutely nothing about it.

It stinks.

Feath 2 factors. 1. Bailly got a lot of the ball. 2. His contact was closer to the ground than Cooper's challenge which was higher off the ground and therefore correctly deemed more dangerous.

14 May 2021 14:49:06
Didn’t cooper get all the ball.

14 May 2021 15:34:07
Correct reasoning George no penalty Bailly. Cooper got ALL the ball, should have been no penalty either, but shirt probably a factor, and city guy maybe overplayed injury.

George I've seen any height specified in any law to do with tackling, what is deemed acceptable?

14 May 2021 21:58:27
Its about the danger caused rather than a specified height Canada.

15 May 2021 11:29:45
Not what George said Alf.
