If the word is true and our budget will be nowhere near last years, is it worth looking at Calhanoglu for midfield. His contract expires this summer and he currently plays for AC Milan (looking to raise some funds) . Of course I do not know if his salary is prohibitive but at 27 comes at his peak with a depth of experience.

Surely as his contract expires in the summer then Milan won’t be raising any funds from him leaving on a free!
I wouldn’t believe anything regarding budgets for the summer as there’s probably a small handful of people who actually have that knowledge and I’d guess none of them are reporters.
Although I agree 100% that Calhanoglu would be a great signing, he will probably be attracting some champions league sides. But you never know with Radz links in Italy etc.
