Crafty move by the six premiership teams joining the super league . any Premiership rule changes or discipline to clubs, requires 16 clubs to vote it through. One of them is not going to vote against itself. They have had a long time to think it all through, hopefully they are not as clever as they think they are and get shot down in flames.

Is forming a new European league actually against Premier League rules though? They haven't said they want to leave the EPL have they and even if they did are there any rules against it? Surely it was just assumed that they wouldn't want to leave? Manu Utd didn't get punished for not competing in the FA Cup did they?

As Alan Shearer said the timing of the announcement told you everything, the American Owners seem to be driving the bus. Personally I couldn't see it happening, but I didn't expect it to crumble this quick. Great to see it going t*ts up!
