I don't see how reports state we are looking for a Left Back and a back up to KP. As far as I see we have two already who can fill that void temporarily. Koch, who was signed with that in mind and Llorente who has filled in already a couple of times, and has impressed. No rather put the money towards this LB and a Top, top, quality AM. One that scores for fun and tracks back like a gud un.

Leodis, I have been flummoxed by those reports too. Like you I thought the versatility of those two, and Struik, had the DM covered. Besides, I think the lads name is Kenneh, there is a beast of a youngster learning his trade in the U23s.
I definitely think a left back would improve us, I just worry that Dallas won't see as much game time once everyone is fit.

Of the linked left backs I really hope we go in for Romain Perraud. He looks fantastic in the league atm. That and a backup/ challenge for starting striker are the 2 main signings for me (depending on outgoings) , though I still think 5 (GK, LWB, CM/ AM, LW/ RW and ST) would be optimal.

Disagree guys. As said before on here, DM is a specialist position especially in a Bub side because it's more of a hybrid role. We need a specialist reserve at this level, not a fill in type. Fill in type not good enough. We've seen we're not as good minus KP even with a deputy so I applaud apparent decision to recruit another DM. Smart.
I can also see us buying 2 LBs. Van Aaholt and Perraud will do nicely. Please remember guys it's a 38 game league season, possible dozen extra cup games, more when we qualify for Europe, it's a Bub team with incessant fitness levels required and cv will still be lingering.

Tbf George, I would love 2 LWBs and a specialist back up for Kalvin but I don't see us bringing in too many players it's not the Bielsa way. I'm maybe being optimistic with 5. Just think we have some cover at DM (Struik and koch) and at LWB (Dallas and Huggins) we need bodies in other positions more.

Gumbo Bub has shown his adjustment ability recently so I'm expecting 6 signings this summer. Also, don't forget that small squad concept you allude to won't be infringed. We're probably going to get rid of Casilla, Alioski, Costa, Roberts, Hernandez, Forshaw, Berardi and Rodrigo.
