Surely the Nkolou rumour is just that with no substance. The only way it could hold any water is if it is goodbye to Coops and (possible) goodbye to Llorente.
If it is true then it is a blow to the hopes of Cresswell and Casey.

Leo Disagree. Struick is now ahead of Cooper in pecking order. We could do with one more senior central defender to replace Cooper. Nkolou good shout but wrong side of Pennines are in for him as well I believe. Don't forget we need a bigger squad to cope with challengees, injuries, suspensions, extended cup runs and eventual European nights 😛. I can also see Cressy breaking into the matchday squad next season along with Baz great-grand love child Drameh 😅.

Kinda surprised at this link, I get that he know Bielsa but I've seen a few stories suggesting his attitude isn't the best and he turns 31 this month.
Don't think he would affect the kids much, still a couple of seasons off first team, outside of cup matches, and at 31 I doubt he would be a long term solution.
Unless Cooper is leaving or Struik is going out on loan I don't see the point.

Cooper is still first choice he is weakest defender but mb won’t change at this point is season

Stuijk is class and will become top top class just hope he gets a chance. hopefully cooper will be out for a while so he can’t get picked.

I agree with Bermo, when Cooper is fit he will be back despite Struijk looking like a better and more valuable defender. If anything Cooper will be phased out gradually but can't see it happening immediately.

Georgie good that you have finally seen the light re my ' great grand love child Cody Drameh ' 😊

I will go further than that : Cody will be a full England international in 2 or 3 years time.

Depends how long cooper out for and how many u23 games he needs. Struick could stick if timing on his side.

Baz He's very strong on the ball. Reminds me of a young Viv Anderson.

Yes that is an excellent comparison Georgie

I think from memory Viv Anderson may have been the first black player to represent England at full international level ( late 1970s )
