I don’t think it is illogical at all
For Phillips as captain
He is Leeds through and through
He is first choice player
He offers a lot to the team
Against Phillips as a player
He is painfully slow
Often booked due to late tackles
Don’t score enough due to lack of mobility
Often out of place defensively which leads to goals as he don’t have pace to make up for poor positioning
So nothing illogical at all. would I sell him for right place yes . would I play him dm no. but I’d play him in cm right now with Koch behind and I’d pick him as captain

Baz No not fair enough. Word you're looking for is incongruous, but illogical covers a few bases as well. Correct choice of captain is Luke, with vice captaincy to Stuarty. Luke for 🇫🇴.
Watched the U23s, Drameh can play and has the strength to force his way into the first team matchday squad. Caprile is going to keep Meslier on his toes. Gelhardt will surely make his debut at Craven Cottage. There's another fateful George predo.

Berm is right there- more or less saying if he is going to be in tge team regularly (as he is) then KP would be a good captain choice.
Not sure about playing KP as CM though he is better where he is - not for his defensive game but as a quarterback spraying the ball across the park and dictating our attacking play. He may not be able to do that so well further up the pitch.

Not sure about Dallas been great this season but not sold on him in cm and left back is our weakest position
I personally don’t see Dallas as regular first team we but first to fill in although I admit this is harsh as he has done well.

I agree Alf I would not actually move kp position when he is further back he has more room to play the ball in behind which he is amazing at although this comes with him not being close to there box for killer balls and means lack of shots because he ain’t up there to shoot

Would just play either Koch or Shacks alongside him when we lose the ball or are broken down there is often a lot of space behind us which makes my bum hole blow buttons every time it happens which is rather avoid.

Dean Saunders! Dallas more than good enough to be a first team regular, plays anywhere and rarely let's the team down. He is the type of player that can battle when we need to and I would pick him every time.

Dallas has done well and impressed me and been far better than I thought he would be
I do think other teams focus on our left back and we need a proper left back and I’m not sure about Dallas in cm at prem level
Dallas has been great and to cut him would be harsh but in heart of hearts it would be a position I’d try and improve but like when we got rid of jones and say very harsh but lukic and batty were better

Agree with berm on the Dallas issue, think he a great utility player and good this season but not in first team next season if want to compete with top 8.
Would have him in squad as can cover lots of positions but we need a proper LB and not good enough for middle.

Well we are all of mixed opinions with Dallas. I have been more than impressed with his performance this season especially in midfield. He is a vastly improved player for me and very consistent. First team choice every time, he’s indispensable and I would like to see him as Captain.
