Serious consideration must be given to some of our U23 starlets. They must be, either given a place on the bench and minutes regularily or sent ot on loan. This is where the hard work starts for Victor Orta and team. They must choose carefully. For me a Championship team that plays Football, keeps it on the ground passes and moves. As near to the Leeds blueprint as can be found. It doesn't even have to be in England, so long as the playing ethos is right. I know this will put off any potential breakthrough for another season but the player coming back to us will be far more rounded and complete.

Disagree leodis. With the very real prospect of the U23s winning their league I believe all those young men have a chance to pit themselves against the best of the best in the top U23 league in the world. I truly believe we will need McCalmont, Edmondson and Stevens back in order for us to be competing
The first team need more top flight ready personnel than those mentioned. that's why I think we need to keep Roberts and Costa even though they have underwhelmed so far this season. Our bench need more experience.

I agree axe if belisa would play them but I think we all know he doesn’t mess with the starting line up and the under 23s ain’t bad but proper football is worth a lot and think our youth in time will really come goid for us.

Bielsa plays the u23s against the firsts all the time. Perhaps the feeling is they will learn more that way than being loaned out somewhere?

Kinnear has alluded that Greenwood, Drameh and Geldhardt are all expected to step up and play a part in the first team next year.

Agree with all you guys, there are some very good young players in our U23 setup, and I am confident that quite a few of them will go on the have very productive careers in the top levels of football.
I remember Robinson, Harte, Woodgate, Smith, MacPhail and Kewell coming through from the youth teams. Glorious days.
I think this group is as, if not more, able than those mentioned above. Not least the reason being that some have already shown themselves capable at other clubs. I think we have had a sea change from Cellino onwards were we are not content with nurturing home grown talent from U11 onwards (Cadey, Cresswell, Higgins, Jenkins) . Nowadays we are prepared to pay good money to improve the squads with young men who have started to show promise at lower standard clubs (Gelhardt, McKinstry, McKinnon, Sommerville) . We are even now starting to attract players from more established clubs (Drameh, Greenwood) .

Open the gates (the Albert johansen story) is in pipeline with kick it out fa and prem leauge and that should be amazing I’m confident the club will get behind it and be such a pleasure to mix my job with the club I love and film in Leeds!
Others to watch out for are tales from the trap, worth a flutter, Bermondsey tales and rewind which hopefully are going into production this year! Sadly when filming or in pre production I can’t go on this site as much so I need someone to fill in for me every time we let in a goal from a corner.
