Much has been said of the irreplacability of Kalvin Philips however. I feel the problem has receded somewhat with the availability of Llorente, who has proved he can slot in there more than adequately. Further to this is the good news coming from Koch. Hopefully his return is not too far away. Another one who can play DM. So, far fom a big gap when he is not there the absence of Kalvin could be just another sore irritation with adequate bodies to cover.

I have seen Koch play CDM for Germany last year, he played well.
Llorente not so sure about as a CDM and Struick definitely not a CDM. Both are good CDs.
We definitely miss KP regardless of those alternatives with perhaps only Koch being a good backup at CDM
3 defeats in 4 games not good at all.
