Rather thought this was going to be the case today without Grealish I think they’d have taken a draw but once they nicked a goal they have two very good centre backs and an excellent keeper in Martinez.
Most worryingly we were very laboured slow moving the ball lacking energy from start to finish.
Our midfield found wanting from start to finish today not Phillips either think we need two, three exceptional midfielders for next season.

We do although I have very high expectations for Geldhart.
Klich needs replacing. Tries hard but too slow, gives away too many stupid free kicks and is creating very little at this level.
No clue why we didn't try Llorente in DM. Struck is solid as CB but not ready for DM.

Unlucky guys but we’ll take that 1 without our talisman, I see a lot of anti football remarks aimed at villa but not our fault that ye didn’t test our (injured) keeper, delighted for el gazhi getting the goal, I expected ye to be better tbh a lot of your players were quiet but I think our defence played great, not that often this season that bamford doesn’t get a sniff, Hernandez looks a proper t**t delighted he got booked rolling around like someone shot him and 2 seconds later he’s up trying to start a brawl trying to get targett sent off his first involvement, need to take off those blinkers there was plenty of play acting on both sides. until next year fellas 👊 best of luck in the rest of the season your having a great first season well playedðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘.

Klich was a world beater and best player in the leauge start of the season, so what has changed? You don’t become poor over night
As for stuijk man is quailty but play him in right place belisa again it’s like he needs to give others a chance.

Whack, targett could easily have had 2 straight reds today. The Hernandez one for me should have been a yellow. You cannot jump into the back of someone with your arm like that. I don't think it was intentional hence the yellow.
His studs down the back of Raphinhos calf was a yellow for sure and I've seen them given as red.
You got a lucky goal (not an intended pass, he slipped trying to shoot, but a very well taken one by El Ghazi) .
Mings was excellent and you defended very well.
We just were not at the races today for some reason but that's life.

Whack agree lots of anti football rubbish you took three points without grealish and you don’t get three points without him lucky you played Leeds
If you need a soft touch hope Leeds roll into town

Another ref might of given targett the second yellow but never a straight red in any part of that game, targett never touched raphs calf he caught him on his heal maybe u need to watch that 1 back, I do agree he was lucky not to get a second yellow but when hernandez was rolling around in agony he was up 3 seconds later giving it socks so the proof was in the eating of the pudding, he barely touched him it was simply an effort to get the chap sent off and rightly got booked himself. I might argue that klich was also lucky to stay on the pitch for constant fouling, even after getting booked he gave away a lot of frees, nice moment at half time between el gazhi and MB, respect there from their time together.

Very lack lustre performance. Created nothing. No energy.
As has been said. Players in wrong positions. Nothing to praise on our side. We had 90 min to equalise and couldn’t.
They never broke sweat. Way too easy for them.

At the end of the day. They won. We never bothered them. got to take it as is.
I would have loved to have stuffed them. Should never have given the. That goal last year.

Don't disagree about Klich, whack. He's a liability but 2nd only looked like a yellow because of a diving dwarf who went down 5 steps too late.
I've seen the Raph back a couple of times and he goes down the leg from the lower calf to the heal, maybe watch it again yourself.
