Last year we took a real gamble on Ben White and it paid off massively not only because of his ability but because his name was on every single championship team sheet. This year we bought two world class centre backs, who not only have not played together but also hardly played at all. Struick who should really have been 4th choice CB and possibly 3rd choice defensive midfield has played 8times in the premiership after starting very few no dead rubber championship games.
Last year the gamble paid off, this year it didn't. Let's see how we finish the season with Llorente and then Llorente and Koch forming 2 of the 4 CB options.
