Watching Bournemouth V Milwall and I’m so glad we don’t have to play in that league anymore, I’m actually grateful for VAR to some extent. Milwall should of had 2 red cards shouldn’t of gained a free kick that hit the post and after all that score 30 seconds later. Totally underserved point. I know VAR has its issues and is slowing football down and to some extent making it less interesting to some extent but atleast 90% are now correct.

Having witnessed the scandalous, bent and incompetent refeeering in the 70s I welcome VAR. It's still to be perfect but infinitely preferable to what we had before.

If VAR had existed in the 70s Leeds would have had won more trophies :
The European Cup in 1975 instead of being cheated out of it in the final, the league and cup double in 1972 etc etc.

Var ain’t the problem it’s the rules and people who implement it I could fix var in about ten minutes.

It’s going to take a while longer to get the right balance with VAR. Berm’s right it’s not VAR at fault but the laws that are given to it. The areas that still need improving are handballs and offsides but that more reflects the weakness of the law rather than VAR. VAR is exposing how bad the laws are, especially for handball which has so many ambiguities.
