Am having real difficulty finding anything being written with injury status on llorente.

I would feel so much more confident with a Spanish international centre back in starting 11.

We also need Ayling doing what Ayling does best down the right.

Koch was out till March right?

But more aerial authority in centre backs would give Meslier more confidence against opposition set pieces.

We’re competing for quality loan CBs with Liverpool in the current window.

Need GK coverage.

Need 17 points.

Need to beat Brighton.

Here’s an idea. can we buy 6 wins out of remaining games by splashing some. OK . No. that would wrong.

{Ed047's Note - in relation to Llorente the Premier League injury website says the following;

Reason
Groin/Hip/Pelvic Injury

Further Detail
Dec 09: "He has a muscular problem, we won't be able to count on him for at least two weeks, but we need to see. Perhaps longer depending on his evolution."

Potential Return
16/01/2021

Bielsa said him and Cooper where back and could play against Crawley if needed but that he was unlikely to risk Llorente as his recovery wasn't as far along. Basically might start next match but should at least make the bench is how I read that.

Useful informative link Ed047 on injuries 👍.

{Ed047's Note - you’re welcome mate, they get the updates from the relevant clubs too so it’s not a bad source.
