First I would like to wish everyone and Ed’s a Happy Christmas or at least as much as you can.

I’d like to kick off the Banter today if anyone’s bothered on Christmas Day, with, when does a game and especially a Leeds game, become ”Huge”?! and what do you actually mean by huge? Is a massive game more important than a huge game?, Is it a season defining game or is it a mildly important game that might affect our season or what?
It really grinds my gears when people repetitively go on like a broken record about how our next game or games are so called ”Huge”. Someone without mentioning names said it in October!
For me those type of games if you want to call them Huge, only become very important if we staring directly into relegation towards to end of the season.
If certain folks think I’m am deluded in that opinion then please explain why?

Agree0 Disagree0

OP. You're right. We'll only know if they're huge games when we can't do anything about it. After all we have 72 points to play for. Get 72 points we'll probably win the title, get 0 points we'll definitely get relegated. I've got a sneaking feeling we'll be somewhere in between! 😉🍻🎅.

It’s huge and big when it’s season defining like win stay up lose go down.
However.
There are many games that we should win that contribute to big and huge and many vice the versa.
So they all count. Not season deciding but all points make a diff.
Let’s hope it dosent come down to goals conceded.

Huge is often in hindsight we lost the fa cup under monk which wasn’t a huge game but it affect moral so become huge as we went on bad run

That’s my opinion according to the wife anything over three and a half inches is huge.

OP all games are very important of course BUT these '6 pointer' games even more so

These next 2 games are against teams Leeds are competing with to avoid being/ remaining in bottom 3

Given also that Leeds have conceded 6 goals in their previous match, and conceded the most in the EPL ( teams that concede the most goals invariably go down) , it's vital/ HUGE that
Leeds regain some immediate confidence restoring results, against bottom 6 teams, and preferably clean sheets, to pick up ( min 4 to ) 6 points.

So yes OP these next 2 matches are HUGE.

I do understand your point Baz on these 6 pointer games but there is still a heck of a lot of football to play still.

Berm, glad to hear your missus is so generous and considerate in what is considered huge. 🤣.
