Alioski’s contract runs out in June, at 28 yrs old with Dallas and Harrison now occupying the left side it’s perhaps likely that he will leave at end of season. I personally hope he gets offered a year or 2 extension, but he might not want to stay without being 1st choice?
I’ve always liked his commitment and can play, also chips in with a few goals. I believe he’s quite a character and liked by the other players.

definitely well liked. Is he good enough to make an impact in the Prem week in week out though? With limited funds we have no room to pay wages out of sentiment.

one would expect that Alioski needs to have a good season with some goals and assists to make being given a new contract likely.
Hopefully in the meantime the injury he has now picked up on international duty is only very minor.

I want Gianni to see out his career with us. Love the guy. Love his attitude, and the way he has taken to life at Leeds. So dedicated to the cause.

Alioski has picked up a hamstring injury on international duty so he will now be seeing out part of his final year in our already packed treatment room.
