Funny really. Football is such a tawdry, nasty, money-grabbing business, and yet I feel very proud to support Leeds. The farewell to Douglas, the contract for Beradi, the disgust for ‘big picture’, our behaviour in the transfer window. Just very proud to be Leeds right now. Good set of results today. Whisper it, but if we win on Monday we are right up there. I don’t think Bielsa has stayed to get 17th. He is in it to win it.

You can add to that the way the team behaved during lockdown taking a pay cut, insisting the staff did not and training like there was no tomorrow, but of course they all believed there was, and what a tomorrow it has started to be!
