Some of the criticism of koch and the penalties is way over the top. Today's was no way a pen. Kochs only mistake was giving the ref a decision to make. I think what happens is when a ref is unsure he gives it mistakingly thinking if its an error var will correct it. However the unseen cowards at var are reluctant to overrule one of their mates. Today's var muppett was stuart attwell of ghost goal fame. A very reassuring appointment. Not. Regarding our defensive play i feel the main problem our style causes is a lack of protection our midfield offers. Whatever, Bielsa will sort it. Great 3 premier points. MOT. ALAW.

Good post. I like Koch! I think he has been unlucky with both penalties but he does get stuck in. I agree the defence will settle but in this league KP and 2 CBS not enough defensive cover if the full backs are awol.
The key for me so far is that the guys are scoring in the Premiership, Harrison, Klich, Costa and Bamford. There was a question mark over whether they could. We are still creating those opportunities and now taking them well.
Also winning the game was key today, 3 Pts absolutely priceless!

I feel bit sorry for koch and think he has shown enough to make me think he will come good, also worth it just to hear koch tired to pull out on tv
also feel sorry for him, ailing is class but league one Liam worries me, Dallas just not a prem left back, keeper is promising but at this point in time not good enough and of course phillips is worst Dm in league. maybe ever so what chance has he got
3 points, priceless but let's be honest Fulham are rubbish and going down, how will we fare against teams we need to beat like Brighton, west Ham and palace? let alone everton and spurs?
I love the way we play and neutrals will love us but reality is we must defend better and have a bit more steel.
I personally think like Bamford Kiko is made for prem over championship. Maybe Douglas ain't good enough but we know dallas certainly aint.
we also know kiltch is great but can not carry both phillips and one of either pablo, Rodrigo or Roberts. one of them three can stay but we need either shacks or stuijk in alongside cliché otherwise we will need to score three every week because we will concede for fun. and everyone must admit it will be great to watch but will 100% see us go down. blackpool did the same won many a fan but are now in league two I think?

Andy, I really don't know what you saw, but koch rose his leg AFTER the slide, it was a penalty imo . Ideally Robin would be partnered up with an experienced prem center half to help him with his crash course welcome to premiership, but he don't so unfortunately for us both lads are learning together.
Best we can hope for is survival, and hopefully experience gained will be crucial ðŸ‘.

Both penalties were soft but correct. On another day I think neither would have been given.

cork I hope you are right mate and to be honest I wouldn't take the bet. I am not sure we will go down but I am certain the defence and paper thin spine of squad will cost us.
