Maybe someone can post the under 23s team. Just wondering how they can lose 4-0 after doing so well lost year.

No Corberan. I like that guy. Earned my respect when he stared down the Villa bench. I wouldn't have let him leave. Family is family.

Bunch of new faces . Will take time to gel . Plus many of the good ones with first team . Davis, Shack, Poveda, Casey, Cresswell etc.

Firstly, it’s a different league which we have moved to because of the regrading of the academy. Remember over the last two years when we were playing premier league under 23 sides in the cup, it was a different class. I that’s why we have brought in new faces at a different level.
Secondly, so far this year all focus has been on supporting the first team and with no Under 23 coach there hasn’t been the focus.
Finally, new players.
The good news from last night is that the Wigan lad although he missed a penalty is supposed to look a class apart.

The Wigan lad was he the number 10? Only saw a section of game but he looked different class.
