Can honestly say I rarely watch Spanish Footy so haven't seen much of Rodrigo.
If we get him where will he play?
Is he purely an out and out striker or is he creative enough to play the #10 role?

Was reading a bit on him and it sounded like 2nd striker was his most effective position.
We need both so was just wondering where he'd fit in our line up.

Exciting player, scored 19 goals two seasons ago, scored 6 for Spain last year. He can score and create. Had 5 seasons at Valencia, over 200 appearances. Scored against Chelsea in London in Valencia’s Champions League win there. If he settles and likes the club I think he will do well. Good to have Pablo in the side, with his Valencian connections to help him settle.
The money seems a lot but it won’t be if he comes good and contributes to us staying in the premiership.

Spanish, thank you for the comment on Rodrigo. Sounds positive, and sounds like he could be a very useful addition if all the stars align.
I have read that a fee will be anywhere between £20m (as his club are in financial difficulties) to £30m (which still doesn't seem that much for a forward in this day and age)
For me the transfer fees are all relative. We spent £10m on Bamford when our TV revenue in the Championship was about £3m. This year are TV revenue may be £100m+. So hopefully the board will show the same optimism this season.
