Another reason to buy British . Any foreign signings including Koch will have to self isolate for two weeks . This effectively rules them out of preseason . I suspect we will be lining up against Liverpool with Coops and Ayling or Struijk as centre backs . Hopefully Struijk as I think Ayling is pants at centre back .

Sign up Koch anyway he is quality . regardless that he would then apparently need 2 weeks of self isolation.

The market is very subdued due to C19.we have to expect that. As long as we get signings over the line, all is good!

If Koch is coming from Germany, he wouldn’t have to self isolate. I think Germany is currently Ok for travel, but it may change so would like to get him signed ASAP!

Not sure if country would even matter with people who are being tested frequently. Why isolate if proven negative?

Koch just played in a preseason friendly in Austria . So need to also consider if Austria on the list .

Austria joined the list yesterday morning, so as long as we was out of the country before 4am yesterday, he will be currently clear to travel to the UK.

I'm not sure it applies to footballers anyway as they have separate testing.

Our signings should of been identified well before season ended and as soon as promotion was secured we should of but in the bids made the agreements and the players should of been at the club a month already and ready to rock and roll on September 12.
