Tony Cascarino is way off the mark tipping Bielsa to dump Leeds for Barca. I believe Bielsa is the type of coach that wants a challenge and the rejuvenation of Leeds Utd is his passion right now. Besides the Premiership is new ground for him, uncharted waters where he can ply his skills and taking a football team from the pit of nowhere to the elitedom of football. So long as Radz backs him within what is reasonable financially, I think Bielsa will accept the challenge and take our great club to those aspiring heights of where we would love to be once more.

See Barcelona back for Bielsa but he’s already at a bigger and better club why would he want to go, tell them we will have Messi. for 2 millions.

Cascarino pub player standard and utter tripe as a ' pundit' looking for easy headlines.

OP He didn't tip Bub to do that. He tipped Barcelona to make an approach. How's TC way off the mark? You don't make no sense. World class clubs desire world class coaches. I think Barcelona qualifies.

Bazi Yes his scoring record for Marseille and Nancy not good not. He was a 1 in 3 striker throughout his career and was an international. Otherwise, spot on.

George, it’s in Cascarino’s estlmation that Bielsa should leave Leeds for Barca, not him personally tipping him, doh! Come on please, have some sense.
Of course Bielsa would fit in as a Barcelona coach, especially with their style of football, but, it’s in my estimation that he would not leave Leeds now because this is his challenge in his career to take Leeds Utd as far as he can so long as he is given the players and conditions to succeed. Bielsa is not your average Coach and is certainly not a mercenary one, if you didn’t know that already.

Bielsa is Leeds now

This is probably the first time since NOB he’s had a chairman and board giving him everything he asks for to do his job.

Sometimes the most important thing in a job is to feel you’re valued

I think that’s what MB feels he has at Leeds and this is finally his chance to build a club from the bottom up

Similarly to wilko came in. Although then the club hired a brickie building a detached house, this time we are led by an artist building a cathedral

Enjoy the ride people.

George Boy
watching lump of wood, couldn't trap a bag of cement Cascarino trying to play football was akin to watching centre forwards playing in a pub league.

He was definitely NOT a technically good footballer and that is being diplomatic.

Yes in his early to late 30s he scored goals ( probably most with his lump of a head ) in France Ligie 1 and 2 but how good a standard were those leagues then? Substandard is probably the answer.

Tony Cascarino failed utterly at Celtic, Villa and Chelsea and was derided by the fans of each club.

Casacarino best known for his quote of his time at Celtic :
' I couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo' says it all about his lack of ability.

As for his 1 in 5 international football career Jack Charlton didn't really rate him but
Ireland were bereft of strikers and had little to no choice

you could have got a game Georgey Boy up front if your great grandmother was Irish 😉🥴.

Cascarino goals were mostly headers, I remember Villa fans chanting “Cascarino in the air” he was a Sunday league player who was gifted in netting the ball with his head. and that was it!
He’s got some knowledge of football but like most ex player pundits they talk out their backside to make a few quid. Him and Georgie Bingham suit each other perfectly talking about the contents of their fridge and what it’s like to have a frontal lobotomy. 😴.

Spot on OP regarding Sunday league player Cascarino reliant on scoring with his head rather than his feet.
