Morning everyone,
Something I've thought about a lot since promotion is what is the objective for this year?
For the last two years the goal was clear, top six and then top two and with a third and a first, think he can say safely achieved. On top of that I just enjoyed the way we were playing football after so long in the wilderness.
But now having finally escaped, I really don't want the club to go back. So for me this first year is about survival and building a base for the future that we can keep adding too. So I'd say 45-50 points! Not really a very sexy objective and not sure it's very Bielsa. What are everyone else's hopes for the season?

I would be happy with mid table comfort and regular blooding of some young guns Struijk, McCalmont, Bogusz, Shacks, Gotts and Poveda.

I think between 13 - 15th comfortably, but would take 17th, safety secured on last day of season, don't think my nerves would thou.

The primary objective this season is to stay up.
However, if Leeds make 3 or 4 very good signings with a goalscoring natural finisher an absolute MUST then mid table is feasible 10th to 12th.

10th and top half would be great for me, really don't fancy a relegation dog fight, going down to the wire.
The current squad is light in numbers and some quality, address that and we could afford to be more optimistic .
Our style of play and team ethos are our biggest strengths.
We need to start being more clinical in front of goal.
So we need more depth to the squad and players to create and take our chances.

WE are overstocked in the chances dept. but extremely light in goals. A point touched on by Bielsa recently (and by posters on here for many a month so I feel the strongest push will be for a natural goalscorer/ poacher to convert all these chances.

Absolutely Leodis . a natural goalscorer is the MOST important player signing that needs doing by Leeds United.
