Silver spoon Lampard, given a top premier league managerial position with little to no experience. Think Abramovich took a big gamble with that decision, ok they’ve got CL football next season, and he will have the green light to spend big. Problem is they may have team of very misfit star players no trophies and no CL at the end of the season. He’ll be just another casualty on the long list of short term managers at Chelsea and he’ll end up collecting a dead end job at a middle to lower end Championship club, where he belongs. Lampard got the job because of the transfer ban, no CL footie next season he will be gone.

To be fair Chelsea have bought some good players already and are linked with some even better players.
Unfortunately cash is king.
