Bielsa has improved a mediocre squad and has them challenging at the top half of the table which has raised expectations. The issue that we face now is that his credit is now diminishing due to poor results both this season and last that represents relegation form but are propped up by a good first half in both seasons. The manager is showing on both occasions an inability to address the problem and continues to believe that his philosophy will work despite the fact it has provided little success in the past. Players are looking empty on energy and confidence but he continues to back them despite not getting a return for his loyalty. Talked nonsense in the post match presser yesterday as he felt that we should have won the game and didn't accept that we only had 1 shot on target. Despite this, he has been given a weak hand by a Chairman who again tweeted last night that we should be grateful to be in top 3 since Aug 2018. These comments don't help Bielsa's cause at all.

My mate had Belisa down to a t. He is what we call in London a jar, a fake shirt. form a distance he might look like a real Ralph shirt but up close you can see he is not the real deal. only trouble is Belisa is costing more than the real managers in this league

I did think that was an interesting Cameo from Augustin yesterday. He was mixing it straight away, which Nketiah didn’t and I think he looks sharper than PB, just in the way he was moving.

I wouldn't go that far but it frustrates me that opposition managers are beating Bielsa with 2 basic tactics, these are: 1. Being physically 2. Set pieces. Hardly ground breaking.

Whoa, Whoa, Bermo usually (sometimes) (occassionally) you make sense but overstepped the mark there pal. As George points out there is a list and MB is nowhere near the top. He certainly has his failings (could cost us promo) but then so have others who got us nowhere near the top. For what he has done for this club we must be eternally gratefull and hope that some day soon he sees the light on stubborness/ loyalty.

Mansion. Great point. I thought he showed real potential to come good. My biggest worry is if we don’t get promoted, he will be fit, and snapped up by someone else from under our noses, as he’s only an “ option†to buy, not an obligation.

I think Bermo is saying for the money we pay him (as in £ for £) the worst Manager. Not sure I agree but he is very expensive. I just think that the team are still playing way way above themselves because of Bielsa but you can’t polish a turd.

Well to be fair none of the managers mentioned above has got us promoted and that is the benchmark for me.
